Billing questions
Who handles my card?
Stripe. You are redirected to Stripe's own checkout page, and card details never reach this site. Easy Eats stores a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status, nothing more.
What if a payment fails?
You keep access, we email you, and there is a button in Account settings that opens Stripe's billing portal so you can update the card. Nothing is lost while you sort it out.
Can I use a promotion code?
Yes. There is a field on the plans screen inside the app. The code is checked before you reach checkout, so an expired one tells you straight away rather than failing at the last step.
What happens if I cancel?
Your plan stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that new plans are paused, but your account, your data and your existing plan are still there if you come back.
